The slugs were the minority
In their small groups of friends,
The gathered to share stories
And to hide from the rest
As they lived out their plastic lives
In their bubble of the past
They were forced to scatter and mingle with the world
The slugs' quiet forest became a jungle blast
A bad type of blast because of the snakes and their kind
The snakes were deceiving
They lured in the slugs with their ignorant disguise,
Sure to look "cool" as they slithered on
The slugs saw "friend" as the snakes told lies
What was best for the slugs was to hold the greeting
As the poor, innocent slugs felt safe,
